From Scrap to Spec – The Aluminum Loop
Aluminum doesn't wear out. It just waits to be remade. At Mingtai, we've built a system that captures that value — turning what others see as waste into high-performance materials for automotive, packaging, and industry.
How the Loop Works

Collect
We source post-industrial scrap from our own production lines and partner factories. Post-consumer aluminum — from end-of-life vehicles, buildings, and packaging — flows in through our recycling network.

Process
Advanced sorting, shredding, and melting technologies separate impurities and preserve alloy chemistry. Our dedicated recycling lines handle everything from mixed scrap to dross.

Return
Melted and refined, the aluminum re-enters our casting lines — reborn as coil, sheet, or foil, ready for its next life.
What Comes Out
Recycled aluminum from Mingtai isn't "secondary" in quality. It meets the same specifications as primary material — because it has to. Our customers in automotive, battery, and food packaging don't compromise. Neither do we.
End products made with recycled content:
- - Automotive body sheets
- - Battery foil for EVs
- - Pharmaceutical and food packaging foil
- - Industrial plate and coil

The Difference a Ton Make
Every ton of recycled aluminum we produce means:

- 3.4 tons less coal burned

- 14 m³ of water untouched

- 20 tons of waste not landfilled
That's not a number. That's a choice — made thousands of times a day.
Proof in Practice
Our circular economy is certified, traced, and verified:
- - GRS 4.0 – Chain of custody for recycled content
- - Product Carbon Footprint – Verified emissions data
- - ISO 14001 / 50001 – Systems that make it work
Why It Matters to You
| You want | We deliver |
| Lower carbon in your supply chain | Products with verified recycled content |
| Stable material costs | Less exposure to primary aluminum volatility |
| ESG progress | Recycled content you can count toward your goals |
| No quality compromise | Recycled material that meets OEM specs |
Not a Side Project. A Core Business.
This isn't a pilot or a promise. Recycling is embedded in our operations millions of tons of capacity, integrated into our production lines, running every day. Because we believe the best way to build a future-proof business is to use what we've already made.
